This entry is suppose to come out a while ago but i've been busy...busy with work, busy with being ENGAGED...:)

Yes, i'm engaged. On the 1st September 2008 (01/09/08) 198 is the last 3 numbers of Wins hp.

So, anyway, Wins proposed that day, at about 10pm i think, when i just got home from my afternoon shift in the presence of Lynn, Al and Doane (cousins and best friend). It was a huge surprise for everyone, me particularly. Very romantic indeed. I seriously dind't expect that coming. And i thought I can never be surprised. Well, i sure was.

Wins planned the whole thing. Cuppcakes, roses (more of spur of the moment thingi), his proposal. So, here are some pics cousin Lynn took. At least we had someone else to take the pics so now, we can remember this the rest of our lives.

And so, my life has been busy, fulfilling and quite happy and content at the moment..how else can i explain how i feel? I'm just hmmm..happy..:)

For one, Biscuits at the moment, has learnt to listen to the word 'no'...well, most times..we've learnt how to minimize his bitings..which is a good thing...seriously...

Second, i'm going to start my new job on October 20th. Still working in the same place, but an up position, which i'm really really excited about. My position's going to be a nurse educator and my job scope would be something like educating the nurses (junior and senior) in procedures, checking on their competency and possibly conducting trainings. The hours are office hours...yeah... definitely something different to look forward to. Praying that i'll be able to cope well with the new job.

Third, i'm never ever going to need to do nights anymore. Gosh, what a relief. And i can have holidays and weekends off like any other normal person. Not that working shifts ain't normal but it always sucks when everyone goes out on weekends and public hols and i have to work.

Fourth, well, it's yet to be confirmed. :).

Oh I forgot to mention that Chatuchak Market has a whol section (and i mean a really really huge section) of pets things, including pet beds, food, toys, and of course the animals itself. And the things are soooo extremely cheap. And so we got Biscuits two shirts which costed like RM2 for each. Didn't want to get him an expensive one cause we dind't know if he would wear it or not.

Wins says he looks like he's in a life jacket about to jump into the sea..

The day we brought him home from Lynn's place and from the vet (had his vaccination) and feeling a little lethargic..

My New Lap Top...

and me opening up my new lap top...

I finally settled on a Toshiba cause it was the best priced with the optimum specs...we got it at the PC fair though. And i'm really glad I got a Toshiba cause i didn't like Dell and Acer (the more common ones). I would have gone for Compaq if i didn't get Toshiba but well, i'm just really happy with what I got. hehe...

Bangkok Floating Market

This time, we had the opportunity to go to the floating market in Bangkok. It was indeed interesting, the idea of people selling stuff from a boat, what more cook from a boat. It's a must-experience actually...

Just a pic outside Siam Paragon (one of shopping complexes with expensive brands such as Gucci, Versace and etc)

Overall, our trip to Bangkok this time wasn't that adventerous. I guess it's cause we've been there before,and this time round, it was more of a bringing Wins' sis and mum there, but i guess a holiday is still a holiday. :)

Underwater World in Siam Paragon

Our 3rd underwater world....in Siam Paragon. The most expensive we've been so far 850 baht. To say that it wasn't worth it isn't right, yet to say that it was totally worth it wasn't right either. It was just nicer, different, cleaner and definitely more things to see. Extras- Glass boat ride (which is actually sitting in a boat with a clear glass in the middle so that you're able to see the aquarium below, which have all the sharks, turtles, fish and etc), 4D theatre (same one as we saw in Melaka though) and the whole setting is a lot nicer.

Bangkok Trip (Chatuchak Market, Ecotel Hotel)

Wins and I just got back from Bangkok (our 2nd trip to Bangkok, and my 3rd to Thailand). He's asleep now, and since i'm now comfortably on my bed with my lap top i thought I should put the pics in before I really get lazy and not do it at all. We were there for 5 days, and as much as I love Bangkok and the food, I an glad to be back home. I actually miss nasi lemak, roti canai and etc. Aiyoh, how to go overseas next time...eheh..anyway, here are the pics...

ECOTEL BANGKOK

We stayed in Ecotel Bangkok, a newly built hotel (opposite Bangkok Palace and Eastin hotel). It's clean, nice and location wise, quite ok. It's not exactly very near to any shopping complexes, but it's walking distance to Pratunam and Platinum (wholesale markets) which is considerably very good. Hawker stalls are also just outside the hotel, which is very eadible. And the most important thing is there's 7-eleven, which is very, very important and quite essential if you have no food around. Believe me, their 7-eleven is nothing like ours. They've got pork burger (which is only 20 baht = RM2 and taste as good as our street burger or even better than KFC), sausages, prepacked food which they can instantly heat up in the microwave for u and etc.

Our first meal in Bangkok, it was pretty late and we just ate at any shop that was open. I can honestly tell u that their worst tom yam in Thailand is still probably the best compared to Malaysia's. (BTW, if you notice Wins has been smiling a lot in all the pictures - training him to smile more in pictures) :)

Chatuchak Weekend Market

It's our second time there, and although it's hot and stuffy like crazy, we still manage to buy lotsa stuff. But we ate more than we bought stuff though. We just had to try everything.

That's the soup that we ate..from a huge huge pot, which i'm not surprised if it's never washed, that's why it's really tasty..ehehhe

Taming the little beast

Wins and I are really annoyed with Biscuits these days...He basically bites our feet and hands everytime we touch him. The only time he doesn't bite when we touch him is when he's eating, or he's about to go sleep. He's like turning into a little biting beast. We've read lots of articles on how to tame them, or at least stop them from biting and we're yet to try it out. One of it is to spray water on him everytime he bites. I'm going to go buy a bottle of spray tonight. Keeping our fingers crossed that it'll work. Otherwise, we'll be 2 very angry parents.

What you think is everything may not even be everything. In fact, it could only be the beginning of something even greater...i bet most of you guys have heard that quote before, well not in those exact words, but somewhere along those lines. I don't know what I'm thinking now. Ok, i do, but it's all jumbled together at the moment. Have you had one of those days?

My thoughts for now...

Biscuits (my kitten) is all over my computer table now..
My weekend holiday wasn't soo great. I wish it could have been better for both Wins and I, but certain circumstances prevented that from happening.( I actually expected a great weekend for the two of us seeing that I don't get weekends off often and Wins took Monday off, but oh well we've still got forever...)
My life is about to change, for better or for worse, wait...whatever happens, i'm sure it's for the better (just depends on how i'll handle it)...hopefully i'll know the results after I get back from Bangkok.
Putting up some pics for my entry today..*thinking that pictures in entries make way better posts cause they've got something to look at*
Kinda excited to go back to Bangkok...eh, i'm not from Bangkok (notice the 'back to Bangkok') hehe...i'm just excited to go for a holiday with Wins after such a long time. I think we need that time together after all we're going through.
I'm back to work today...part of me is actually looking forward to work. Maybe mentoring someone actually gives me a purpose to work these days. It feels somewhat good that someone would actually work like I do...like a Mini Me...but i'm trying to bring the best out from her..it's too early to tell though.
I'm actually quite content with work, with the doctors and colleagues i'm working with, yet i want something more.
I've got to go back to Kch soon...haven been back for a while,...and i haven seen my family is a while...
Biscuits is disturbing my feet..

The SJMC's Malaysian Nurses Ass. organized a visit to Silver Bird Bread Factory (High 5 bread) last Saturday (26th August '08), and we had a wonderful time. I think it was the most 'worth it' trip i've been to for ages. Then again, to think of it, i cannot even remember the last time I ever went for a visit to any of these places. So, because we were MNA members, we only paid RM10 for the trip (the rest subsidized by MNA). So seriously, it was really worth it, with each person receiving a goody bag worth RM8.80 each.

The entrance into the Multimedia room (They had a short video presentation of the history of bread making till present day before we actually started the tour)

hehehe....unfortunately, that's the only pic i have in my cam..cause we weren't allowed to take any pictures inside anyway...

Anyhow, i've got to go get ready for work now...till then take care..hope the rest of the week is a blessing to you and to those around u...
